Celtics to Unveil City Edition Uniforms
Uniforms Pay Homage to Boston's History and Culture
Unveiling Ceremony Scheduled for September 27th
The Boston Celtics will unveil their new City Edition uniforms for the 2023-24 season on September 27th at a special event at the Auerbach Center. The uniforms are designed to pay homage to the city of Boston's history and culture.
The uniforms feature a navy blue base with white and gold accents. The front of the jersey features a stylized version of the Boston Celtics logo with the word "CELTICS" written across the chest. The back of the jersey features the player's name and number in white with a gold outline.
The shorts feature a similar design with the Boston Celtics logo on the left leg and the player's name and number on the right leg. The shorts also feature a white and gold waistband.
The Celtics will wear the City Edition uniforms for select games throughout the season. The first game in which they will wear the uniforms will be on October 20th against the Philadelphia 76ers.
