Buttlers Men Produce Clinical Performance To Crush Oman

England skittle Oman for 48, mark best-ever bowling performance in T20 World Cup

Buttler's men produce clinical performance to crush Oman

England produced a clinical bowling performance to skittle Oman for just 48, their lowest-ever total in T20 Internationals, in their ICC Men's T20 World Cup match at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Thursday.

The English bowlers were on top form from the outset, with Reece Topley (3/13) taking three wickets in the powerplay to leave Oman reeling at 12/3.

Oman never recovered from that early setback, and they were eventually bowled out for just 48 in the 16th over, with Chris Jordan (2/11) and Liam Livingstone (2/15) also taking two wickets apiece.

In reply, England cruised to a nine-wicket victory, with Jos Buttler (28*) and Alex Hales (22*) hitting boundaries to wrap up the win.

The win was England's second in as many games in the tournament, and they will now face Namibia in their final Group B match on Saturday.
